Barbara Richardson-Todd

 Barbara is Suffolk born and first worked as a teacher in various schools in Ipswich in the 1970s but then had a career change and qualified as a nurse in 1986. School nursing provided the perfect opportunity to combine the two professions and she became School Nurse Co-ordinator and Practice Teacher, presenting nationally and internationally, until her retirement in 2014.  . She has written articles on nursing, is a member of two editorial boards and is an occasional lecturer at the University of Suffolk. Since her retirement, Barbara has worked for Terrence Higgins Trust, been a Director of HealthWatch, is a parish councillor, a chaplain for the university and FE college and has several roles in interfaith organisations. She is a post- theist Quaker, has had 6 children and has 10 grandchildren and enjoys family history.
